Hello,

I have some org chem questions.
What would be the product of the following reaction?

Which diene is most reactive in a Diels-Alder reaction?
2.JPG

I think it's IV because it's got electron donating groups. Is this right?

Which dienophile is more reactive in a Diels-Alder reaction?

I think it's the first one because it has an electron withdrawing Oxygen.
What's the correct answer?

Thanks in advance.

That first question, the diene is locked in s-trans so I dont think it will react in a diels-alder reaction, but dont quote me.

Idk about the other questions. Honestly the diels-alder q's were very straightforward. If you know the basic reaction, where the double bonds dissapear and form, and know the stereochemistry if theres sub's added, you will be fine.
