1) what happens when an alcohol is heated under acidic conditions?

2) what type of reaction is the following?
CH3-CH2-CH2-CH2-C(=O) --> CH3-CH2-CH2-CH2-C(=NH)H

tertiary alcohol, primary alcohol, etc ? what kind?

The 1st cmpd is missing an atom (or molecule). Is it an aldehyde, ketone, carboxylic acid, ester, etc????!!!!
