Hi guys,

I read a thread here while ago, saying you can find which chapters of Orgo to study from the ADA website. Is that true? If so, where do you find it?

also, I have forgotten a lot of my orgo, so I first need to review before I start doing problems in Destroyer. Any suggestions?

Hello!
Thanks for the link. Do you think it's enough to go through the book and get reactions and get started with Destroyer?
I am pretty good with bonding, isomerism and such. Reactions are the ones I don't remember and need to memorize.

destroyer road map will help you out with all of them..

well i have not taken it yet, i stumbled on this when studying for ACS final. It was right on for that. i figure the more problems the better.

Hi there! I took my DAT last summer and my highest score was on O chem section. I scored a 23 and I only used Mcmurry's book and Kaplan book. These two resources are more than enough. There were no surprises at all. I only missed two NMR problems that dropped me down to a 23 instead of a 30. Good luck! Remember your separation techniques as well I had 4 problems on them!!!

the best reviewing strategy that worked for me was just going over my notes from class--it triggered my memory of the material and it was usually more complex than needed, so the orgo section seemed easy when i took it.
