I applied sort of late (early December) and I recently recieved a letter from OCPM stating that I can come interview and that I should do so quickly as I am in the running for a scholarship. Does that mean that I am pretty much in? I am confused because I have not even sent in my letters of recommendation yet. Do they send this same letter to everyone? Also what can be expected on the interview day? Any responses will be greatly appreciated.

Thats not what I got, but it says exactly what it means. You have no sure shot until you interview with them. Who knows they might not like your hair or your demeanor that day. It's probably a marketing scheme to try to get you to come interview at their school so try it out...who knows 50/50 chance👍

Overall, it's quite easy to get accepted to OCPM, even with them upping their standards a bit (MCAT only). On my personal interview day and while there during an internship, everyone walked out with envelopes (acceptance letter) at the end. The education is tough though and a number of people end up failing out - my 3rd year friend's class alone lost nearly 30 students. So if you have ok grades and not act like a spaz during the interview, you are surely in.

P.S. If you shadowed a graduate from OCPM, the seat deposit is half price ($250).

In relation to scholarships, there are only 2 available to incoming students: a 5K and 10K. This is a one time thing but there are other scholarships available when your an upperclassman (some based on grades, some only for those of "minority status"). You need at least a 3.50 for the 5K and at least a 3.75 for the 10K.

Good luck and PM for me info
