oct 15 deadline.........

question: is the deadline date, Oct. 15, the date that AMCAS processes, receives, or sends our primary apps out. Example, i submitted my application on monday, AMCAS will probably take 6-8 weeks to process, which means schools wont get them till mid oct...........am i late then.........HELP

No you aren't late! The deadline works such that AMCAS must receive it by October 15th...the schools take processing time into account!

I submitted yesterday too because i was afraid if i waited until October, the schools may not get my stuff until December..

Apparently the paper copies of apps of those who submitted after 8/10 are going out to schools ahead of those who submitted earlier whose apps are being kept in verification hell! So you may actually benefit.
