It's not a hard rule. October 15th is the date that the AAMC recommends. It just happens this year that Oct. 15th (and 16th for a bunch of schools as well) happens to fall at the end of the week/weekend. So, we have to wait till Monday for a number of schools. Many have already heard back on the 15th though.

This has been the longest weekend of my entire life. Reeeeeeallly hoping for good news tomorrow!
