# of Passages In the New MCAT

Is there a set number of passages and discrete questions for each section of the new MCAT? Or does it vary from test to test?

Correct me if I'm wrong but i THINK there are 7 passages in each section and 10 discretes?

Yeah I would like to know as well. I took the old MCAT, so I don't really know what the differences are. Where can I find out?

For the sciences, there are 7 passages and 3 discretes sections.
For the verbal, there are 7 passages total.

I've been told the magic number is 7 passages for every section, with a possibility of PS and BS reaching 8.
