Off service months

What are the call schedules like when you're off-service? Do you pull the same as the other interns/2s/3s from those services? I know in OB here, the off-service people had medium call (11pm) q4 but no overnight and no night float (which the OBs had, I believe). Are you taking Q3 o/n in the MICU for that month?

Your question is almost certainly program specific. At our program, USF...
PGY-1
CCU: House Officer at nights q4
MICU: House Officer at nights q4 (HO just answers floor calls and codes, no admissions)
Ward: Admit team q4 (cap at 8, unlimited on weekends)
OB: No call
Trauma: No call, shift work (80 hrs a week)
