This section of the forum is solely dedicated to pre-dental/dental discussions. If you want to post off topic threads, then feel free to post in the Lounge. We used to have a couple of OT threads and they're almost always a magnet for trolls or turn into a flame war. People don't seem to recognize a good thing when they see it, and they always spoil it for the rest of us.

Usually threads that have several posts before they're caught, we let the thread die out on its own, which that thread did, until another member revived it a couple months ago. The last post in that thread was two weeks old before you revived the thread again. SDN has an official policy of OT threads in the lounge only. We've had an off topic thread here in the dental forums before but it got shut down due to rowdy members.

I didn't even know there was a lounge until reading this. I checked it out and it was terrifying.
