I sent mine out in June and it took them about 2 months to cash my check. Mine was cashed quickly after I got my first email from PITT.

I got an invite too =)!! I am excited. They cashed my check a couple weeks ago but they have had it since the end of June. And I also only had the two dates to choose from (oct 15 or 29) so it looks like we are the first round.

I got the e-mail as well. It also said 15th or 29th. Do any of ya'll know how many people are interviewed in one day? Seems like it will be a long day by the way. Anyways, nothing makes my day better than getting interview invites such a relief after waiting for a long time since I submitted my apps. My schedule is becoming waaay tighter than I want with midterms and whatnot. Stressful but I'm loving it!

Got an interview at Pitt too 🙂 As for the timeline question,

My application was complete on September 13th. (I submitted in July but I didn't take my DAT until the end of august) and then I had to wait for score reports to be sent out...then sent my checks in about a week after my DATs. So a guess would be everything was in the system by the 13th or something. Good luck everyone!!

Pitt usually only holds two interview sessions before the december 1st deadline, In the previous years their has been about 60-75 students at each interview session. But look on the bright side, you guys made it before december 1st. GL

Reserving 29th as we speak. In the email it said that there is something attached about accomodations, public transportation, parking, and directions, except there isnt anything attached to it?

My invitation did have the attachment about hotels etc. I emailed back last night to say what interview date I wante dmy interview date -- still haven't gotten a confirmation.

To answer a couple of the questions asked above...

Yes, I did receive a conformation email today from Rose (I sent her an email yesterday saying I would be able to attend the Oct. 15th session if it was still available). So my guess is you should receive something in the next couple days.

As far as the agenda not being attached, the first email she sent me didn't have it attached. Then she sent another email like 4 minutes later with the attachment. If she didn't resend it to you by tomorrow, let me know and I can just copy and paste it on here, it's just a breakdown of the day's events.

Guess I'll be seeing a few of you on the 15th! Make sure you're in shape, our campus is very hilly, and the d-school is alllll the way at the top 😀

Last night a Recruiter from pitt came to our campus and talked to us... He said that they have been filtering out all the applicants that have 15-16 or lower on any section and not offering inital invites to them. He recommended that if if you had anything like that for any section on your DAT that you retake the DAT. He also said that Pitt will take your highest and best combination of scores from two DAT tests, IE if you got a 22 PAT 1st time and 19 AA 2nd time then they would keep the 22.

No hotel info in the attachment.

There are a few hotels within walking distance of the school. Most are >0.5 mi away, so I'm not sure if those would work or not. There is one right on campus. It is a Holiday Inn Select on Lytton Ave. I have never stayed there nor do I know the prices, but that is the closest hotel to the d-school that I know of.

i also have a QR of 16 and got an invite.

Also, the october dates aren't good for me and asked if i could reschedule for a date in November, and she replied saying sure. The dates for nov just arent scheduled yet.

They are working on it. Expect an email by this evening. I called up the school and that is what they said.
