thanks man, trust me, my weekend got so much better after checking my mail lol, anyway, according to the letter, the scholarship is a 4 year scholarship and it's basically half of the tuition, which I guess amounts to a total of about 90k for the 4 years. I mean, the school is still expensive, but instead of paying 65k (tuition, living expenses, etc) per year, it would be 40k total per year, which is still not that cheap but doable. anyway, I only have until Dec 19th to accept it, not 45 days (to accpet the scholarship), so I am still waiting to hear back from md, before I make up my decision. I am sooooo psyched about it.......woo woo, all those sleepless night have finally payed off

Got a call from UF this morning at 8:36. I was on the way to the post office to pick up the certified letter they had sent me on saturday. If I was home on saturday and had got that letter, I would have known the good news earlier.

bring on the rejection letters now. I will be a dentist anyway. I am not afraid anymore.

Congrats!! I also got accepted to UF...Sposetti called me at 7:05 a.m. I did not receive her call because I was on my way to the post office also!! I figured since I got a certified letter it was an acceptance...I didn't think they would certify a rejection.
