Okay I know I do not have mediocre stats, but given the three strikes mentioned above, my stats become mediocre...
Also about all the schools... I wanted to apply to the big name schools, so that gave me like 30ish schools and then my sister and dad told me I should not be overambitious because the med school application process is fickle, so I got stuck with 25 other schools. Add in a few more schools my sister made me add out of spite for my dad making her apply to so many schools, I got stuck with an unusually large amount of schools I am applying to...

ooo did i tell you LET, this is making me mad. because i moved, most of these schools are sending mail to my old address (even though i already changed it on amcas) and it has to be redirected to my new address. well, today, i got mail that was 3 weeks old. it's like i didn't have enough to worry about...now, i have to wait an extra 3 weeks to get mail!!! 😡
why is everyone freaking out the 12th of august?? Plenty of ppl get there first II in feb and still get in...sheesh.

The only reason I have an interview is because I lived in Texas for four years.

Hahahaha yeah this is true. Today (yesterday or today, cant remember) I got an email from tufts like "status changed" and I started hyperventilating, until I read the email and it was like "you're complete!" which....I've been....for like 2 weeks....GAH!

Lol, wait till you get your first interview. I still check those status pages because it's like having a mini confidence-inducing "I got an interview!" moment each time you read the interview invitation on your status page that you already knew about.

Wow, berk, it takes you 1.5 hours to check your status at all the schools? I have all of my schools' status check websites saved in a word document, then I just open all the links and log into them all at once. I'm only checking the schools I've finished secondaries at (18 so far), but it only takes me like 5 minutes.
Alas, I also have 0 interviews. I'm sure we'll get one sooner or later!

In firefox, create a bookmark for the login page of each school and put it in a separate folder. Once this is done, go to book marks, said folder, and at the bottom is an option "open all in tabs." Select said option. Takes me about 5 minutes to check the 10 or so schools I can check =).

I actually have a 3.91 and a 34. I'm female from New England (and not from a top ten school) who did some cool stuff, but I think I must have nice LORs. There are 12 in my school's committee packet from some high level people. I just shot out my secondaries like nothing else. I work 50 hours per week, so I drafted everything in advance
