Starting to feel sad. I haven't even gotten an interview offer yet, but got 2 rejections. Please tell me you don't need a 35 on your MCAT to get in and that they understand not everyone is a great test taker.

Awww hang in there! I hope you'll have better luck soon-- but since you're working with a lower MCAT score, perhaps it may be wise to take the MD-only interview you get? I know a lot of schools let you transfer into MD/PhD in the first or second year of med school, so in the long run it won't really matter.

Most schools say that they don't have a MCAT minimum, so that plays in your favor, as long as the rest of your portfolio is awesome. Good luck!

I've been pestering them for months. I was waiting down to the wire (last week) expecting some kind of news, even a reject would have been nice, just to bring some closure. The secretary said letters went out last week, and I haven't seen anything yet (East coast). Anyway, I'm certain my fate is the same as yours, but it sure took UCLA long enough. Anyway, best of luck. I called UCSD SOM and they already knew I was rejected, when I talked to MSTP they were still making final decisions, got the official reject a few days later.

For Sinai, I had been calling for 4 months and they kept saying it was in review, in review. After getting fed up and venting at them a bit, I found out that the SOM had no info and I should call the Graduate School (why didn't you tell me 4 months ago). MSTP office says their class is full, so obviously not going to invite me to interview. Jerks.
