Oh yeah, I forgot that those that got rejected from NOVA may not have a liberal arts letter of rec. That is one of the requirements to apply to the school.

I don't know why everyone is so hung up on Nova. If it makes any of you who got rejected feel any better, I have not heard very good things about Novas clinic situation.
I don't think anyone is particularly hung up on Nova. I think people are just discussing because it's the first rejection for most. I'm just speaking for myself anyways.

I got an interview with Nova. 21 AA and 3.85 Gpa. But i don't have a liberal art letter of rec. 2 of my recs are from proffessors in engineering school, 1 from dentist, and the other one from the place i volunteer.

I feel like some people misinterpret the purpose of sdn threads. Although we are all in this together, the purpose of the threads on sdn is not to comprise our integrity to give us an advantage over non-sdn applicants. That is why you will not see answers to these type of questions on sdn. However, we all can share our overall experience and use the thread as a support group. Am I speaking incorrectly?

There's nothing wrong with talking about how your interview went or what questions were asked. In fact there is an entire section of SDN dedicated to interview feedback including specific interview questions. Students should feel free to take a look because it's not as if they offer some insurmountable advantage. If someone tries to memorize and reiterate answers to these questions, it comes across as very obvious to an interviewer and not in a good way. The interview is all about getting to know you as an applicant and how you present yourself in person. Knowing a few of the questions they may happen to ask ahead of time doesn't change much about their impression of you. There is no 'integrity' being compromised here, sit down and relax.

You haven't been to the interview feedback section of SDN, I take it?

I don't see how seeking out info that non-SDNers do not compromises our integrity. It's doing our due diligence and researching info that is already available; not my fault (or my moral dilemma) if others choose not to do the same.

Did you never read the DAT Discussion section either?

Just sayin...

Congrats!! I've been waiting for this school.. haha

Did they mention what available dates they had for interviews?

Update: tried to ask for another date and they said they were currently only offering interviews for the date they have me, then put my application on hold saying they would notify me when another opening pops up

Any Canadian applicants got interview invitation from Boston, NYU, Pitt or UPenn, or Case Western Reserve??
Hi,

I have gotten interview requests from UPenn and NYU. But I am not going to either of the interviews. I got an email from Case Western saying that they would consider me for an interview in Winter or Spring. I have not heard back from Boston.

When was ur mail out date?

Would it be a bad thing to move my NYU interview from mid-October to early-mid November? Is the general consensus on interviewing to interview ASAP?
