Jokes aside, if adcoms come here and read your comments, what impression do you want to leave of yourself? Two of the three interviews I have had, someone in admissions mentioned about checking SDN... So they check it occasionally. If I was an adcom and I saw people disrespecting others or another school I'm not sure I'd want them at my school.

Not trying to ruin people's fun, but just making sure you guys have considered such scenarios.

Not invested in the Touro debate but out of curiosity, have they mentioned how they could possibly tie applicants to their SDN identity? It would just be interesting to know how they can make judgments outside of the application and interview.

It's pretty easy to realize who I am at interviews if you spend a couple of minutes to read my posts, and my username gives it away as well.

With that in mind I try to make all my posts positive and slightly helpful to those who read them.

Can't say if I was totally anonymous I would post the same or not but hope I would.

I think I'm pretty easy to identify too... I've considered it. The school is also nonexistent as of now. I'm also relatively kind on here. If people actually were applying to the school at the moment, I'd cut it out. I don't think getting admitted hinges on SDN comments... unless you're legitimately mean-spirited. But if an adcom wants to make the connection and go track down my file, more power to them. Besides... if a school couldn't see past my humor, I don't think I'd be a good fit there anyway. 😛

I've had a lot of internal debate about getting involved with SDN, again ... but here's a little beam of hope for people with below-average stats. 🙂 I'm a little freaked out it's been weeks with hearing nothing from anybody else ... I got e-mails for supplemental applications from UCSF and UCLA, and also an email from Oklahoma saying that AADSAS is running 2-3 weeks behind? Has anybody else heard about this?

I smell fear in this post lol. ;o But I feel ya. May God forbid there are adcom members lurking on sdn all day or some willing to call FBI to track down people on sdn.

I haven't touched anything in my app since I first hit submit. Not sure what the deal is. I emailed AADSAS so hopefully they enlighten me about this, I just didn't know if anyone else randomly experienced this!

Sorry that's not what i meant. Australia and Canada have a reciprocal agreement where if you finish dental school in Aus, you can come home and practice in Canada and vice versa. So alot of Canadians apply there and hence that is why I said the post is geared towards Canadian applicants because I know US and Aus dont have this agreement. Sorry for the confusion lol
