Hey Guys,

Do lots of schools leave you in the dark (neither reject you or offer an interview) until Dec. 1st or later? I'm still waiting to hear back from 5 schools.

BU did that to me and a bunch of other people... I contacted them a few times and they said I'm still under review and just never rejected me

My gpa is 4.0 and my DAT are 22AA/24TS/21PAT/19RC/19QR so i think numbers does not matter here
 
I am sure its late DAT. I called and this exactly what admission told me

AADSAS application sent out on 8/21/15. But DAT was complete on September 25 and the application was complete on 10/1/15.

That's odd, my app wasn't complete until Oct 20th and I received an interview...I think luck has a huge role in who/when they see your app

I have a rejection on my AADSAS portal yesterday as well. But today I looked at the portal and it changed back to 'Received/Application Complete'..?

Mine did the exact same thing! I was rejected but now I am no longer??? I wonder which one is supposed to be correct...

You may want to give them a call to find out. I'm sure plenty of other people will be calling as well. The worst that will happen is that they will tell you that the rejection is true and you're in the same position you are in now!

Did you get an email or letter saying you were rejected? Given past history, I'd say that it's some kind of computer glitch.

Neither. I was just checking AADSAS when I noticed that it said "application denied" for Pitt. That was on Friday, so I checked the mail for a letter both Friday and Saturday - but nothing was there.

No email no snail mail, but aadsas changes...
But it went back to the original status so i hope it is just a computer glitch

Ok, I wasn't sure if some people saying this had "officially" been denied. If you look back at previous years, there seems to be a few schools that have "computer" glitches that sent out acceptances when they were really rejections, etc. Happens every year with undergrads too.
 
Yeah I have no email either. Has anyone called to see if it really was a rejection? I feel like schools should let you know personally if you're actually rejected as opposed to just doing it through AADSAS. But schools can do what they want I guess...

Oh for sure, this whole process I've come to realize is very much a crapshoot. Just gotta hope and wait... I'm still waiting on 10 schools when my app was complete over 3 and a half months ago.

No I figure we just got rejected the timing makes sense right before December. If they want to interview us we'll get an email or call I don't see any point annoying them over this.

No I understand. You're not supposed to find out earlier than 12/1 but Nova sends out snail mail letters earlier with the intent of them being received by students on 12/1. depending on where you live, and how close you live to/in Florida, you may receive it earlier. The letters are also addressed for December 1st.
