I hope everyone is having a good rest of the summer/start of the new school year. I was just wondering if anyone has been invited to interview to any of the CA schools yet. Post here if so! Maybe we can get to know each other before the interviews...

Is it really early? I thought UOP was already entering Tier 3 as of tomorrow? Just wanted to know what you guys thought.

I think most CA schools have a November 1st application deadline. UCSD and UCSF don't start reading applications till they have all of them, so it'll probably be a while till we hear from them. I think most CA school hold interviews starting in December except for UOP which is starting end of October(not sure if this is for their own students or for everyone), but they don't notify you till 2 weeks before, I believe. So I don't think we'll hear anything until like October

Last year 2 classmates of mine were invited for an interview at UOP early Oct. We didn't go to UOP for undergrad, and they turned their apps in tier 1, so I think early Oct is as early it gets.

It depends on when/where you interview. In Cali the earliest acceptances will probably be the Touro ED candidates. That should be late October. After that December is the earliest I'd expect. I know USC has interviews in November, accpetances/active consideration letters are sent 4-6 weeks later. Western I believe is roughly the same. UOP, UCSD, UCSF, LLU I'm not as familiar with. LLU changed from a 12/15 deadline last year to a 11/1 deadline this year. I don't know how that will affect their timing. If you check the roll call thread from last year (I believe it's stickied in Pharmacy forum) you'll get an idea as to when everyone reported their acceptances last year.
