Official DAT scores-Problem with UCSF

Hello guys:

My test is on October 5th; but I just found out if UCSF doesn't receive your Official scores til october 15th [and takes atleast 2-3 weeks for ada],they withdraw your application🙁
Do you think if I contact ADA, they might do something? I already tried UCSF and they said it's not our problem. or should I forget about my dream school. anybody had such a problem before?
Oh i can't take it sooner cuz this is my second time and october 4th is the first day i can re-take it.

Wow I did not know that school deadline is so early.

I think you should concentrate on you DAT at this time, since there is nothing else you can do. if you could change it to the 4th would be great though.
ADA does not do anything about it either.
I took my DAT on 09/03 and my score was available on the 14th which makes it 11 days, so there is still a bit of chance that if you take it on the 4th you make right on a deadline.
Now your score could become available sooner or later, it is a chance you have to take.

Since it's your second time couldn't you send your first scores so that they don't cancel your application? Then send your next ones also.

It might be too late to even send the old ones...

"We recommend that applicants take the test no later than September 15th. Applications lacking official scores as of the October 15th deadline will be cancelled."

Call them and plead. They might be in a good mood. Also, it is possible they will get there in time...11 days.

after u write your DAT, ADA review your exam (they go over every Qs), to insure the accuracy of your exam. that's why it take long time to send it. the assessment of your old results must be done and it should not take long to send!. I sugest you sending the old results and write them a letter instating the ur retaking

Are we supposed to wait for UCSF to tell us to send our DAT scores? Cause weren't they one of the schools that didn't want the scores to be sent to them immediately?

I think you have till october 15th to TAKE the test. At least thats what the email I got from western university said. As long as you take it by then, I think you should be ok???

Another option which may or may not be accepted by UCSF is faxing or mailing in your unofficial DAT score. I am referring to the paper you receive at the end of a DAT.
