So I try not to think about Dec 1st...but then I get on SDN and I see anew post for this thread and then my anxiety starts all over again...haha..its a never ending process...the only thing that can help now is still 3 weeks away..man I cannot wait till the 1st!!!!!😀

how many interviews do u have? if u have several, i dont see why u should be anxious. for those of us with one or two, there is so much reason to be anxious. as for me, it's a hit or miss situation. i am so damn nervous right now.

I had three, but I am still nervous about them...b/c I dont think 3 falls into the several category...🙂

Hey laelia, I have a question. I was dreaming last night about being rejected and you kept saying "Its okay, you will get in" and I was trying to thank you but I couldn't pronounce your name. (I know that dream is wierd, but that is why I am planning a weekend getaway.)

How do you want SDNers to pronounce you name in our heads when we see it or have rejection nightmares with you in it?

I have tried "lie-lee-ahh-lew-deezia" and "Lay-Lia-Lew-dis-ia" and I know I am still butchering it. (maybe it is Hawaiian where you pronounce every vowel?)

Can you clear this up for us SDNers, or just me? ( I am sure that many of us have pronounced it a different way each time in our heads.)

wow...i don't think i have every had anyone dream about me who hasn't actually met me. what did i look like?😉, or was it just me on here saying, "it's okay..."?

it is the name of 2 types of orchids fused together. it is pronouned "lay-leah-loo-dis-ia".

i wish i was going skiing this weekend 🙁 i have new boots and everything, but alas, no snow near me yet. i will be going several times in feb-march, yeah!!!! have lots of fun for those of us who can't go 😀

also, if you want to address something to me just say "LL" and i will know you are talking about me. 😛

Armor was a gunslinger from the old west and ihd was a optimus prime. Like I said it was nuts. I still laugh about it out loud how ******ed I am. :laugh:

I had a dream few days ago that i had a bad toothache, and all of a sudden all of my teeth fell off!!!!!!!!!!!!! What in the world!!! Teethless dentist! Yay 🙂

i.................am...................sooooooooooooooooooo............ really really ridiculously jealous. in so cali, we dont have powder. we have ice, slush, and dirt. still, better than nothing. 😀

i've decided i'm not going to shave until i hear from a dental school. that'll show 'em! i hope i don't have to go scruffy after dec 1.

i was thinking the same thing! i was going to let my hair grow too. if i get in, i'm shaving everything. hope i dont have to reapply.

what is everybody doing to make these 12 days go quicker?

Lately all i've been doing is sleeping, missing all my classes and eatting. this December 1st thing is putting too much pressure on me. I wish i can get another interview invitation so i can have something else to worry about.

Wht's everybody's plan for december 1st? I plan on going to withdraw like 500 from my savings (which only has like 600 rite now) and just getting myself and all my friends super drunk. all of u are free to come if u want... who can say no to free alcohol?:laugh:
 
thanksgiving food isn't gonna help my anxiety lol... but i can't wait for the table full of indian food and sweets. it's like diwali part 2 😀
