All we want right now is one interview, Santa, can you hear us, check your list 10 times this year, just to get the ball rolling atleast. We've been good kids & we studied very hard this year!!!! heh!
 
50 DAYS LEFT! SO DAMN SLOW. I wish i were in a coma except for the times i receive my interview invites and for interviews and dec 1 or 4 and thereafter.

i shouldn't be lookin forward to december 1st because that means i'll have only 1 more semester as an undergraduate 😱 . gonna miss the good life lol.

Oh yea..and if anybody's wondering, UMDNJ said they will try to send acceptance letters so you would recieve it exactly on Dec 1st. Since i live soo close to newark, nj... that means maybe i'll get my acceptance/rejection by nov 30 or even nov 29...

maybe we should countdown till nov 29? lol j/k..

for some reason, i have a bad feeling. come dec 1st and i think ima be downing 151s and everclears... maybe stick 20 nicotine patches on myself. sorry. i just feel like crap.
 
I just signed up for SDN a few days ago and have been looking at the threads... Is Dec 1 REALLY important?? I haven't gotten any interviews yet so does that mean if I get one after Dec 1. Im pretty much doomed?? Im a little confused about this.

lolz! november has 30 days, and we're already on the 16th day of oct. leavin 15 days left of Oct.
15 + 30 is 45, but I subtracted one day because 44 is more even. Also to try to fool myself into thinking that it's closer than it really is so that I won't freak out so much

you're supposed to add a day. just click SRW's link. very accurate... although i dont know why 5 PM. I think i'm going to call at 8 or 9 AM

One of my top schools sends out their first batch at 12:01 December 1st. I wonder where I'll be at that time 🙄

Oh, I might not be home until 5 or so.. :scared: Since I'll be travelling home from my Pacific interview. Though maybe I'll try to get a flight back the same day (Nov 30th), so I can be on SDN freaking out with you guys all day 😛

oh great now you're gonna have all of us checking our emails all night long that night. I definitely won't be going to class that day. Gotta check emails and be by the phone:scared: I'm gonna need a case of Dr. Pepper to keep me ready.

All I can say is, I'm lucky I only have one class on that day. Besides, getting away from my e-mail/phone for an hour will probably be a good thing.

Today is 17th, I cant wait, getting more impatient after reading this thread, hehe~
 
I seem to remember that last year some schools called early morning on Dec 1st (UF at 7am) while other schools mailed out acceptances that some people received a day or two too early (Nova) while still other schools replied to phone calls with "we'll be sending out letters in the next week or two" (Columbia?? Don't remember...).

Moral of the story is don't hurt yourself stressing over Dec 1st. It's threads like this one that cause people to post "OMG! It's Dec. 2nd and I haven't heard anything from the 34 schools I interviewed at! Does this mean I'M DOOMED?????"

it's unfortunate that Dec 1st is a friday..................... so we might really not hear anything on the 2nd... defintely not the 3rd.

Wow, it is wednesday morning with forever and a day to go until dec 1. Then I read this thread and I get as excited as a pup w/three peters.
I am so pumped to hear where I am going, I can't wait!

On Fridays I work at a place where I don't have internet and I can't pick up my cell phone (must be kept on silent) I'm going to be jumpy all day long until I can get home! 🙂

can you have someone check for you and give you a call where you work? i would give my cell phone to my bf and give him instructions on how to check on the status of my app. on aadsas AND to pick up my mail that day in case i got letters 😀 .

i think he is just as anxious about dec. 1st as i am!!! 😛

That's a good idea. I'm willing to have my boyfriend check my mail and e-mail and call me if anything comes up. I'l probably sneak a look at my cell phone during the day anyway. Dec. !st will be VERY anti-climatic if nobody calls- especially after all the hype.

sorry ihd, I was on a plane, then cooking cup o noodles with a coffee maker in my room.
Congrats, let me just say happy 1000th tomorrow and 1100th for monday, there I am covered til tuesday.
 
so last night I had a dream that it was dec 1, and I went to check aadsas and I had an acceptance listed but on the left column were it would have said which school, it was all blank, very traumatic . . .
