2 billion trillion ppl today invited me to go drinking on thursday nite...

but nerdy meeee said no...so i can be here on SDN and witness all the december 1st midnight action.

what has my life come to?🙄

who's gonna be here at midnight to join the official SDN Pre-dental online party?
 
Not me. I'm going out regardless of how sick I feel and regardless of whether or not I get accepted.

And I could be wrong, but those acceptances probably aren't going to be instantaneous with the click of the clock at 12am will they? Is AADSAS going to be updated that late...? Probably not. Will postmen start knocking at 12am to deliver your letter? Probably not. Will people be around at dental schools to answer your call about whether or not you're accepted? Nope.

...So, it seems to me, the madness will probably happen Friday morning when people start calling dental schools after they open right? Even then, I wonder if many dental schools will even be able to notify you over the phone. My wife was told for one medical school that they couldn't give her an answer over the phone even though they had sent out the letters the day before.
 
i am going to *try* to go to sleep on thursday night, which i don't think will happen, so i'll probably be on here.

i have class the next morning which i plan on attending b/c otherwise i will go psychotic waiting around all day. :scared:
 
I don't think I will be going to any class on Friday. Seriously, If the phone rings I will get up and run out and likely be to damn excited to sit through the rest of the hour.

I think I am going to rent a phone booth and sit in it all day.:laugh:

i'm actually trying to figure out how to forward my calls from my house to my cell phone. if i can't figure that out i may not go. i think it would be a distraction for a little while, but i'm pretty sure i will be unable to go to class unless i figure that out. :scared:

my top 3 schools email or call, so it doesn't do any good to wait for the mailman; thank god since he comes around 3pm 😡
 
I am going to be hiking in the mountains, what if I don't get cell phone reception? I'll be driving to the nearest McDonalds to connect and check my webmail. Is there really an update at midnight?

I hope you can get your phone forwarded. If not, you can wait for calls and SDN all day. I am glad I put my cell phone for my contact info. Now I can go anywhere and still get word.

Tomorrow will rock around here.

I'm pretty sure I'll go to class, but I'll sit in one of the "exit row" seats so if it starts a-shakin' I can bust a move out of class and answer

I don't know other "emailing" schools,but in the past Louisville has sent acceptences out via email at exactly at midnight (eastern). So west coasters could hear as early as 9pm tomorrow night. 👍

holy snikies; okay, so now i will def. be on here @ midnight. one person on here didn't here until noon on dec. 1st from louisville last year but said they generally send them out at midnight :scared:

Snowboarding (powder day) took off so much stress today...Why did I have to go back on SDN?:laugh:
 
OMG, this is driving me nuts. how can schools be letting people know already??!! 😱 (ie. nova and oklahoma).
 
Mackeral how did you get to the slopes? I'm in Boulder and could barely get around town, let alone up the mountain.

tomorrow is my day off, i have absolutely nothing to do all day..........its a good thing I'm at expert at wasting time......and also, im already psychotic so.............i guess i have that going for me at least.
 
I have an interview on Dec 1st, i so i guess my attention is diverted until then.
 
Coming back from Boston the letter will be waiting for me in my mail box...

I'm streching my fingers to get 'em flexible so i can dial my phone on friday if i don't hear from 'em.
