Alright, seeing some interview invites trickling in already for the new cycle!

In the spirit of continuing the tradition, let's post all of the forthcoming interview invites, acceptances, and rejections here in one big mega-thread for everyone to benefit from and to keep the forums nice and tidy!

Please keep the format whenever there is an update. Last years thread and those before it - people would just post that they received an interview etc. and would not use the format to help others.

The email was in my junk box and I just saw it. What's weird is that I got an email saying they're reviewing my app and then 15 mins later a rejection email. Like, ouch.


*********UPDATE***********

I called and it was due to "not being a citizen or permanent resident." They only want citizens and permanent residents and I AM a permanent resident so it was a mistake on their part. And not once did they apologize! Like, this is my life and feelings you're playing with, home slice. And then they took about two weeks to send me the supplemental. I kept telling them I couldn't see no damn supplemental in their portal and they kept telling me it was there and they kept making me feel like I was schizo or something until their IT people helped a sister out. LECOM, you're stressing a woman out. But no shade. I still gots love for ya. Supplemental is sent (nice and short) and application fee is paid.

2nd'ed

Being that dds.studentdoctor.net hasn't really taken off like mdapplicants.com has, these yearly threads are really the only quantitative data we have on 2014 admissions until the ADEA Guide comes out in 2016 (the 2015 ADEA guide will have stats from the 2013 cycle...). I don't even have a 'horse in the race', so to speak, but these threads give an interesting glimpse into a relatively secretive selection process.
 
Did you already send in the supplemental for LECOM? I got an email this morning saying my app was received and to send in the supplemental.
 
@TheToothFairy13- How in the world did you get a rejection? Your stats are above average? Have you called and requested why?
 
@IwillCombust no I haven't called yet. I've been at work =\

@kokonut91 I believe I do have all their requirements. I looked extensively into all that info before I chose schools.

How?? I thought schools are not allowed to release ANY decisions information until December.

you have a high of DAT and same of GPA
are you sure that you have the requirements i know the admission office check at first the requirements and then wait for the DAT and LOR

I find it interesting that Midwestern is sending out interview invitations so soon... I know they have 140 seats in the incoming class but does anyone happen to know how many interview invitations they extend?
 
Man! MWU is on quick this year at giving out interviews...... hopefully my application will be mailed out this week and give me enough time to fill out the secondary before all the interviews are offered 🙂.

500 seems to be the #. They're always early, lots of seats, lots of interviews, fairly fluid waitlist. It's mega $$$, but I think it's an obvious backup/safety/whatever-you-want-to-call-it school. It's hardly settling for a lesser program if it ends up being your place.
 
did USC send confirmation email for supp fee? they checked in my check but never sent me an email? also UDM anyone?

I just got a confirmation email that they received my app this morning and I applied early June... They must be busy! If your name and AADSAS number were on the check and it's already been cashed I wouldn't be too concerned.
 
Boston University sent me a request for fee payment and supplemental application, almost right after e-submitting with letters of rec AND transcript verification pending.......I e-submitted last night. Do most schools do this without a complete AADSAS application?

Many schools have automated emails for their supplementals after receiving an application, complete or incomplete. BU is one of them.
 
got a message from Columbia for receiving the supplemental application fee. I still don't see mailing dates on AADSAS, why?
 
When you're posting GPA's are you using the GPA calculated with the + and -'s or without?
Wondering bc mine have a pretty solid difference
