For those that are preparing or have already taken it, I wanted to start a thread for advice about the Ob-gyn shelf exam. Any information pertinent to the rotation, shelf exam, study plans, etc are welcome

This will be my first rotation so I literally have no idea what to expect of the shelf exam - so far I have bought blueprints, pretest and I have the beckman book from 2nd year. Has anyone bought first aid ob-gyn or any other books?
Also, in terms of study schedules, how do people typically manage? Do you read a little every night on your patients or do you split the books up and try to get through them by the end of the rotation? Do you try to take notes or make study guides or just simply read? How many hours a night typically?
