Haha, ok...say what you will but I GO to CU, and trust me- people will give you a raised eyebrow if you say UC. Just trying to save the embarrassment but you don't seem too impressed with colorado anyway...so I guess you don't need to worry about it. 🙄
 
Another interesting fact, I have a guest lecturer for my immu. class and he does research at the UCHSC, but I swear that he mentioned they changed the name from UCHSC to UCD. I'm not too impressed with this change, but whatever. This must be where the confusion is coming in...because if you are on the dental schools website, it says in some places UCD, but go to your browser and type in www.cu.edu and you will see CU all over and on the DS website it has the CU above the mountains in the little starburst thingy...

Like CUSOCCER said, we are just trying to save you the embarrassment...

Not that it really matters anyways...even though I am an in state student I still doubt I will get in. They seem to be pretty elite up there...even my dentist who graduated there says that they really think highly of themselves. Additionally, I don't have a daddy that can give a crapload of money to them to build a new wing, I doubt I will get in!

They told me that they will re-review my application in Jan-Feb. Ohwell...
 
btw, I got reject by LLU and Case...looks like those are pretty standard.

She probably got rejected after the interview. Schools can't accept applicants before Dec. 1st., but they can reject anytime.
 
bummer, i got my first rejection today from ASDOH via the dreaded small envelope in snail mail, pretty bummed because i wanted to check that school out and i thought i had a good shot. Oh well
 
UCSF today via thin snail envelope.🙁🙁 Man, a Cali school would be nice. ah well, they probably want super stats for someone from smalltown NY.

For the people who have received rejections from UCSF via snail mail, what was the status on your AADSAS the day you received it? Mine still says "under review" but I get the feeling my rejection letter will be in the mail soon 🙁.

Mine immediately said recieived and rejected. 2 weeks later i got the rejection letter in the mail
 
i just got a rejection from Nova on AADSAS, no email or letter yet. I applied there because im originally from florida. oh well. guess it was not meant to be. my dat score is 1 point below their avg acceptance and my gpa is a little lower than their avg acceptance. I guess the MBA did not make up for that.

so far i have 2 interviews (LLU and UT)
2 rejections (UMKC and Nova)
and one hold for comparison (kentucky)

guess i cant complain for slight above avg dat scores. God must want me to go to LLU or UT or maybe another interview or two will come in

Nova rejection!! I saw it first on the AADSAS, and then on the same day got the snail mail. 😛
 
i got rejected from nova 2 weeks after i sent in my application.
 
caloriefree, new student, sillygoose; what are your stats? same as mine? we all got rejection on the same day it looks like

nuckingfutz, it looks like people with stats like ours did get interview at nova, but they submitted really early...
 
great... just checked aadsas and got case rejection

so 2 interviews. 3 rejections. 1 hold for comparison so far
 
Just got the boot from Midwestern...I am really bummed about this one! Nothing I can do now...
 
Frankly, I expected one post-dec trip to Boston. 🙄

But, I knew it already. Just wished a lottery for Boston trip!

I think I should more focus on what I have now. Good luck guys! 🙂
 
i just got a harvard rejection as well, i have to say i'm getting discouraged, i worked hard to get the stats i have and they dont seem to mean a whole lot

Wow. That's weird. I thought they were interviewing everyone with 3.9+/20+.

Man sorry to hear...I feel for you man I'd be pretty mad too if I worked for a 3.9+ like that and didn't get recognized for it.

Nope. I got rejected and I thought my stats were pretty good. I also thought the minority card would play out, but hey, I'm not complaining. I have a good amount of interviews including 2 Ivy's. I guess it's Harvard's loss... yeah right... haha 😎
 
Did you guys get Harvard rejection by mail, email, or by AADSAS status change?

It's totally Harvard's loss.
 
thanks for the regards guys, its very frustrating but looks like miaminole is in the boat with me and i guess i just have to accept that it wasnt where i was meant to be
 
just got home..checked the mail and got slapped with Harvard rejection. Can't say i didn't see it coming.

I got one rejection and no interviews yet. I'm very discouraged. I wish yall the best of luck.

and still no interviews...frustrating...very, very frustrating.

No rejections from TX schools and I have yet to hear from them about interviews. I am not overly concerned at this point. In another 4 weeks, I'll start to worry as Dec. 1st is starting to approach.
