This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Me too!! I am so excited! Maybe we will be class mates! 😀:

Got accepted as well. Has anyone gotten anything in the mail yet?

did you call them to find out that you got accepted? i haven't heard from them and im really worried. i haven't gotten anything in the email either.
i don't know if i should call them or what?

AADSAS updated to offer made for them. Got the letter in the mail today.

I am the same as Molar22. I got the letter today too. I called after my AADSAS update to make sure everything was in order.

Interviewed on the 23. I couldn't believe how nice and updated the facilities were. The students are required to do two implants before they graduate right?

I interviewed on the 23 as well and was accpeted dec 1st.

I was very impressed with the facilities and the faculty. It was my number one, so I am happy. I did not hear about the requirement for the implant requirement. Where did you hear that? Also did any of you receive the SIUCARES scholarship application?

The tour guide mentioned that, which I thought was unique and very beneficial because I don't think a lot of students get to do any. I haven't gotten the scholarship app yet. Does anyone know how to get into touch with a current student or if a lot of SIU graduates do a residency?

My tour guide was willing to give out his email to discuss topics like this. However, I did not take it down lol. I am not sure how many people actually do the residencies, but I know that the scholarship is designed to make you complete the residency. In my application for the scholarship it described the residency as an opportunity to learn advance techniques, primarily on children. There is a salary, etc. It came with my acceptance.

Sorry y'all. Definitely going to UIC instead. Great work everyone!
