Looking at previous years threads it looks like it won't change for a while to anything related to acceptance like the "check back Dec 15" people didn't post about having that status change until the 14th

I'm inclined to agree, I went back through a few of the previous years and all the way back to 2021 decision day has always been in the middle/end of the week so it has been a weekday the night before.

I checked my portal this morning at around 5:30 and saw that the status had changed to “Check back on December 15.” I received an email a little bit later.

Hi, has anyone heard anything about when SIU might send out second-round decisions?

I am not certain, but yesterday the 15th was the last day for first round acceptances to complete all their forms and secure their spot, so I’d imagine it will be very soon. I went through some of the old forms, 2 years ago they had an initial acceptance on Dec 15, and then other people reported being accepted Jan 25 for the second. So I’d give it 2-3weeks yet
