For questions and complaints about Topscore.

I will start...

Topscore PAT #3

11) Keyhole question...should be C even though the answer is D. It's obvious that the block on top is NOT centered as it is in answer D.

15) I would say that this questions is arguable between A & C...the only reason A might be wrong is if the horizontal portion of the "hole" is too long. Even still, I think the answers are out of proprtion, the circular protrusion should definitely be longer in the answer choices. Btw, Topscore says the answer is C.

26) The question is just poorly written. Well, no, it's wrong. The top and end views don't even coincide with one another. According to the top view, the answer for the front view is obviously A.

26 is all wrong, choice C should be the ENDVIEW of the object and choice A is the FRONTVIEW. NO doubt.

15. i agree with you.

11. C cannont be the correct answer if you at the right side of the ''hole'', it should not have one uniform line b/c the corresponding part on the object is not parallel. but D is also not correct like u said.

#11 definitley cant be C... Look at the back end of the block... It would not continue the angle of the triangle, the end of the block is straight, where the triangle is tapered...they would make a small corner, not just continue with each other... Just my opinion...

#15 I see your argument... for it to be C, they should have made the hole for the cylinder longer... like they did in B... I see your point about A... which is what I would have chosen... but the hole looks a little too long

#26 A is the first one you can eliminate man... if you look at the top view and rotate it down for the front... the longer leg would be ion your right side and the corner (facing downward in the top view) would be facing you head on, so it would be a solid line, just offcentered (again with the long leg on the right)... eliminating A.. C would be the front view if you rotate it downwards.. again just my opinion..

both of you are very right about 11. i didn't look that closely at it.

in topscore 2, organic chem Q76, is the answer given by topscore by any chance wrong? i keep on getting A and topscore says that it is D

thanks!

It's a tricky question. It is asking for the configuration of the enantiomer of the molecule, not the molecule presented.

ahhh! i totally didnt read the question and just assumed what the question would be...this is soo bad! anyways thanks so much for the quick reply 🙂
