Official Transcript Question

Just a quick question for those who have applied already.
Is it possible to have your official transcripts faxed so as to speed up the process rather than having the transcripts mailed. And if so, what is the number to have it faxed to.

Last year you could only mail them. The address will be on the Transcript Matching Form, I assume if they add the option to fax them in the number will be on there. I highly doubt you will be able to fax though since the transcripts are supposed to be mailed directly from your school with the official seal so they know it's "official."

You can fax it. Call up the registrar's office at your institution and ask them if they have had any problems with faxed Transcript Matching Forms mailed out to AADSAS. If you have a faxed copy, you should be fine. AADSAS will understand that you might not be able to fly/drive out to all your institutions, depending on the circumstances. So I"m pretty sure you can fax it. The only thing that worries other students is that the barcode might not copy correctly during the fax. Though, from what I've heard there have been no other issues.

Yeah you should be able to fax the form to your school but your school has to mail the transcripts and form to AADSAS. AADSAS will not accept your transcripts through a fax. Too easy to tamper with.

Yeah that's what I figured dds. Was hoping since my school offered to fax and follow up with the mailed form that it might be possible. But guess that would be to much work for AADSAS to double check, wouldn't want them to work to hard after all =P.
