hey guys, i interviewed on jan 8th. my stats are, dat aa 21, ts 23. gpa 4.0.

I was interviewed on Jan 8th and I did not hear anything today! If anyone hear any update from Bob or James tomorrow, please share with us! I want to know how many offers made today.Thanks
 
For everyone that heard back yesterday - did your AADSAS status change? I don't want to keep checking if nothing is going to happen either way. Thanks!

I interviewed on january 12th and got the phone call yesterday from Dr. Featherstone. My aadsas status hasn't changed. I cancelled my deposit to Columbia and plan on accepting UCSF's offer, so it'd better not be a mistake!!! 🙂

no. i really wasn't impressed with the program during my interview day, or even beforehand. we pretty much got a tour, a five minute talk for the "dean" or whoever he was, and a pamphlet about financial aid. definitely didn't feel as though they were trying to sell their school or impress us. their application process was chaotic (couldn't reach anyone for questions during the summer...the interview request required a 2 week notification, but the date on it and the date received were like 5 days apart, etc. definitely doesn't seem worth the money to me. i would have chosen columbia over nova (tuition is the same, but columbia's program is much more reputable)...but i fell in love with everything about UCSF (and it'll be cheaper after i establish in-state residency)...so you'll see me in cali come fall!

My interview was on jan 12th...they met the next day and made phone calls of acceptances on the 14th. They said the next and final meeting would be early february, and they would make final decisions on EVERYONE at that time. It's only 2 more weeks...you can do it!!!

I hope I hear back from them early Feb.

I think they're gonna make the waitlist then too.
do we get our ranking you think?
and how many do you guys think will take off that list this year?

Yeah, the director of admissions said everyone would get a decision (accept, waitlist, or declined) and you would receive your waitlist ranking, as well as e-mails updating you when your ranking changes. He also said that they really can't say how likely you are to get a seat because it just depends on who accepts or declines their offer. He said, if they knew, they'd tell us. Last year, everyone off of the waitlist was able to get a seat (i think he said it was 15 people). Anyway, best of luck!!! (I guess he told us the process so detailed since it's after the dec. 1st deadline...hope the info was helpful!)

i called bob on the 15th, and he told me that the next meeting is on feb 2nd. after that, the status will change to either accepted, waitlisted or declined. they have made about 70 some offers uptill now... and they do not know how many more they will make. I am thinkin since the class size is 88, they will make a few more offers to make the total number of offers reach 88.

Did he say they made 70 some offers? If so, some might decline and open up more spots. possibly 30 more offers if 20 decline.
