So... the official matriculation thread is getting awfully lonely while this thread is lighting up. Will there be a mad rush on May 16th?
 
Hi! new here, and a quick question - has everyone officially turned in the official stuff to decline offers? (I'm thinking NYU - is everyone waiting until after the revisit this week - it did look like fun?) Someone from the school told me that so far there has been almost no waitlist movement... is everything going to finally happen at the beginning of May? 🙁 not sure what to think........ Thanks for any ideas!

Know what you mean! I really don't mind at all... just wanted to know for certain that's what's happening. Personally, I had an obvious choice from the offers I had... congratulations to those that do have a hard choice!

i think most 2nd looks are in mid-to-late april, so there should be movement at many places between now and may 15.

We probably all declined officially (at least I did), but generally the school accepts many more than they know will matriculate, so waitlists don't move at all until the number that still hold acceptances falls below their threshold.
