I didn't brush my teeth too well when I had braces when I was younger, and now I'm paying for it. Smoking and drinking coffee ( which I no longer do ) the last two years didn't help either. I do brush my teeth routinely now but I don't see any improvements :[

What are some best ways to whiten my teeth using over the counter products? I can't afford to make a visit to a dentist (sorry guys).
My teeth is somewhat sensitive..
Which whitening toothpaste is the best? I heard arm & hammer but I don't know which one will do the most work!
Should I use whitening mouthwash after I brush? and then use whitening strips on top of that?
Which whitening mouthwash/strips work the best? Help me out guys!!

1) Crest has worked well for me.
2) I don't use mouthwash but I do floss regularly.
3) I've heard really good things about whitening strips from Rembrandt.

Do you have white spots (decalcification) on your teeth? If so I'm sorry to say these may never go away. You can try M.I. Paste which can be bought off of Amazon.

As far as whitening, wait until you are in dental school and ask a restorative professor. You can make trays for yourself and use professional grade bleaching products, which are different than OTC products. WhiteStrips can hold you off until then but that is probably a better solution.

yeah don't waste your time with "whitening" toothpaste and mouthwash. Tooth whitening is time and dose dependent. Without increasing the dose of the active ingredients or the time they are in contact with your teeth, whitening will be minimal. Also yellowish stain whitens better than grayish stain.

White strips are your best bet in your situation. And like cmistry said, if you have white spot lesions, try the MI Paste.
