I've got no issues with differences of opinions on this board. I enjoy reading the diversity even from the Liberal pre-meds who pretty much know nothing.😉

I can even tolerate a little name-calling from time to time on this board. But, some of these posters cross the line repeatedly when it comes to common decency and add little to our clinical content.

JPP and D712 are not among those who should be banned.

The dude is probably a nice guy, i don't know him.
But come on he has 1+k post and he's not even a med student. Before you go rubbing people the wrong way you usually need a little street cred on this forum (and no, repeating you're a writer ad nauseum doesn't count)

This is wtf is wrong here. People come on an internet forum and they expect everyone to think like they do, agree with everything they say, always be cordial and treat everyone with respect. Well wake the hell up people. The world doesnt work that way. And the sooner some of you realize this the better your life will be.

And this isn't North Korea either. If you want censorship of everything said and you want a supreme ruler then thats where this place is headed.

Have you seen the shiite they post on the premed forums, the lounge, etc etc?
He's about 100x the average poster found there.
I'm pretty disappointed.
If our mods are doing this they should probably chill. How many points did Mil get for being an ass and posting all that venom about me last year in some random thread I didn't see for a month? I guess you can't say... (my money's on none)
If it's outside mods or admins, our mods need to assert themselves and complain when they get involved in our affairs.
We don't have to all get along.
 
It seems obvious to me that the more experienced members of this forum are mostly in agreement that this moderation is not what we want.

The youngsters with much less experience are mixed. Some still don't like having their words challenged.

The mods, well they remain silent.

There was a post in one of the JPP-related threads that would probably count as intimidation, but that was a week or so ago. I haven't really seen anything recent.
