Sounds familiar. Financial Aid is giving me a headache. Mommy forgot to fill out the FAFSA this year until a few weeks ago. 😉 Mrs. Sallie Mae is taking her sweet time to guarantee my federal loan.

I feel ya on the whole summer thing too...you are lucky it's your last one...I mean to say, I assume that means you are in your last year of pharmacy school. Right? I am applying this year and it is daunting to think that I have FIVE more years of this...assuming I am accepted this year. 😱

I'm starting my third year and next summer will be spent doing rotations. Thinking about all the work you'll have to do over the next five years definitely sucks to think about, I really wonder sometimes if I had to do it all over again if I would or wouldn't. I'm in too deep now!
I was def. not ready to start back again. I am not ready to have to quit being lazy through the days.

I don't understand this. School has only been going on for 2 days, and people are already studying!
Classes are OK, but I need to figure out why USP's NAPLEX rate has gotten so low over the past 3 years (as opposed to being really high previously). If anyone has any input, you can tell me.

I already had a quiz in the first week! And we were supposed to have a test that none of us knew about because the syllabus never got posted online. Thankfully that sucker got postponed! I'm still in summer mode and not ready to study, which explains why I've checked SDN so much today. 
You've had a whole damn summer off, and you are complaining? Then those of us who work full time and then some on just two weeks of vacation total this year should just go dig their graves now?
I waiting for them to cancel class... NOLA.com says that evacuations could start as early as Friday.
You take the prize. I would much rather go to class than be evacuated! Stay safe!

You see, those of us who don't want boring jobs like retail or hospital, do not have the market playing in our favor, and have to accept two weeks of vacation for the first three years, like everyone in corporate America. 😛 I could have had three weeks and then some with my seniority at Walgreen's - but why would I want to work full-time at Walgreen's? I enjoy my two days a month very much, but I would hate it if I had to do it every day.
Classes are canceled for six days starting August 29th at noon...
I don't really have much else to say... I just want to have a smooth trip out of the city. Probably leaving Friday or Saturday depending on the track of the storm.
