Even if they did very good work how many people will go to the hassle of going down to Mexico? Also there are threads in the dental forum about "bargain shoppers" who are more trouble than they are worth.

I don't think it would be a large enough population for any dentist to feel the effects.

This thread conjures up images of those illegal unlicensed dental work. 😡

Do not trust the Mexicans when it comes to you teeth
Oh yeah, my roomates dad flew from GA to NY cause his insurance would pay
for some dentist down there. Add flying/staying cost , it was still less than half the price.

I'm sure there good ones in Mexico. A few of them do come over to the states so I don't want to disrespect them by making blanket statements like that. You do pay a price with quality though. The US is at the cutting edge. I've talked to foreign dentist and they tell me consistently that the biggest difference is technology.
