Has anyone here taking the Ohio MPJE? If yes, how did you study? What resources did you use? I am studying Donny Sullivan's notes (+ practice questions) and my class notes. Do you think that is enough? I'm taking my exam this week and would appreciate any advice. Thank You in advance!🙂

Hey shahj3...I'm an out of state student taking the Ohio MPJE this Sat. I am using Donny Sullivan's notes + practice questions and am wondering if you thought that was sufficient for the MPJE. I also printed out the Legal Practice of Pharmacy packet of the BOP website...do you think the 3 combined is enough for the exam?...Would appreciate any advice!...Thanks!

thanks fiorio...did you bother reading the 5 key pharmacy statutes he listed in the beginning (aside from the pharmacy practice act) such as the controlled substance act, pure food and drug law, or the state board of pharmacy rules?...I looked them up and they are pretty long wondering if I can do without them...whaddya think?

Nope, i didnt read that. If you have any school notes, I would review that as well. There were some questions that Donny Sullivan didn't cover, but I found it in my class notes. Make sure you know about adulteration and misbranding! I have at least 3-4 questions on that. Good luck!

no i didn't
but do know in general what those laws mean

for those of you who took the Ohio NAPLEX/MPJE about how long did it take to hear back? Was it really 10-14 days likes it says on the bop website?...I keep checking the license verification on the board of pharmacy's website to hopefully see if my status has changed...is that how u guys found out? Thanks

Yup it took me 9 days to get my score/license. They usually update your status on the Ohio board of pharmacy website as "pharmacist" before you get the official letter in the mail with the scores. However, my friends and I who found out this week got our letters 1st before our status was updated online. Hope you'll get yours soon! Good luck!

Does anyone know how to get the results of the Ohio MPJE?? I took the test on Tuesday and am wondering how long it takes to get the results??

Thanks!!

From what I've heard from my friends who have already taken both the NAPLEX/ Ohio MPJE, it seems as though it takes about 7 to 10 business days (seems like it is closer to 10, honestly).

Took 2 weeks to get mine. My status on the BOP license verification page changed to RPh before I got my scores in the mail. That's probably the quickest way to find out if you passed.

How did you feel about the MPJE after the exam? I went in feeling pretty prepared with Donnie Sullivan's notes and felt like I got destroyed when walking out.

All I used to prep was Sullivan's notes. It's all you need. Felt like I didn't know anything on it and ended up w/ 97. Most people feel like they did horribly. Same w/ NAPLEX.

Did u find out yet? I took my exam on the 29th and I'm still waiting. I was told results would be mailed today but BOP website still has me listed as an intern. For those that passed Ohio, what exactly will change online (ex: grad intern inactive, Rph active?). Also, will I still have to pay for my Rph license or was that included in my application cost. Thanks

I took my law on July 1st and that wait is starting to get to me as well. What happens online is that you will be listed as "Intern Graduate- Renewable Once". What will change when you pass your boards is that your intern license will be inactivated and you will be issued a pharmacist license. If you search for your name through license verification, your name will appear twice on the list: once as an inactivated graduate intern and once as a licensed pharmacist.

I think you do not have to pay for your Rph license now, but will have to renew it September 15th.

Thanks for the info. This has been the longest 2 weeks of my life. I will let you know when I get my results, so you know you will be next 😊

Donnie Sullivan's stuff is the truth. All I studied was his stuff and the main points from the board and I just found out I got a 97, his practice questions definitely helped

I am preparing for the naplex right now and then I am going to prepare for the MPJE. I wanted to know if anyone can give me the Donnie sullivan notes and Q and A.
Thanks,

I took it this week and felt exactly the same. I am still waiting for my result. I just hope to pass and I do not want to retake it.
