anyone out there in ohio states dental program? if so, let me know what you think of the program and what your average day is like. Also, if you have any suggestions or scores that would help for acceptance into this program. Thanks.

Here's the Class of 2007 admission profile for OSUCD: http://www.dent.ohio-state.edu/admissions/classprofile2007.htm

I'm assuming that you are from Burlingame CA. Don't pin all your hopes on getting in there if that's the case, because as a state school the majority of their students are OH residents. This is from their FAQ: http://www.dent.ohio-state.edu/admissions/FAQS/FAQ_Interviews.htm

"Preference will be shown to applicants who are residents of the state of Ohio, as defined by the University. Nonresidents will be considered on a competitive basis for places in the class not filled by well-qualified applicants from Ohio. Application procedures for both residents and non residents are identical."

If you are indeed an out-of-stater, better make sure you got very good GPA and DAT.

HTH!

Burlingame is my last name. I actually live in Columbus, OH

In that case, go for it! 😀

If you are an OH resident, you really can't go wrong attending OSUCD.

I live in Columbus too, and applying to OSU in couple of weeks. Have you taken the DAT? - You can share your scores and GPA with us if you don't mind.

Good Luck

Anyone else considering OSU for 2005?

osu accepts more than our share of out-of-staters...

..and, it is pretty easy to become a resident here.
