Ohio State granting interviews without recs?

I got a letter from OSU today saying they want me for an interview on 17 September. However, they also enclosed a checklist of sorts that said I was missing the two recs... the thing was dated "As of Aug 24..." As an out of stater, I did not expect an interview from OSU so this is a pleasant surprise. Or is it a glitch in their system? Anyone have any insights or got the same letter?

wow....this kinda depresses me...ppl getting early interviews left and right....patience is golden 🙂

On a more serious note, i submitted my OSU online secondary only 3 days ago, so i cant be of much help right now.
