For ohio state, it says you need to have at least 20 hours of non-family dentist observation hours. I have tons with my father whos a dentist, but thats it. Does anyone know if ohio state will reject u right off the bat based on this, or if they like u will they just say ur accepted on the condition u take care of those 20 hours with another dentist? Id like to apply, but I dont want to waste money if its one of those requirements you have to have from the start, unlike pre-req courses.

I tried calling their admissions but nobody answers the phone.

Thanks!

They will reject you. I would just go shadow someone else.

well of course id try to do that, but I want to send my application in now...not in a month or more

Does anyone know/can post the full list for all the schools? What the min shadowing/working with a dentist hours are. Also how strict do you think they are? I have somewhere over 20 but not up to 40.
