Hi,
I've been reading these threads for a couple of months and I've read that most agree that the NBME self-assessment tests that you pay for have a strong correlation for the actual step 1 score.
But, I'd like to hear from anyone who was happily surprised at their actual board score (given their performance on the assessment tests).
Please share when you took the assessment(s), i.e. 2 days before, 1 wk before, or 4 weeks before the real exam, etc. and the magnitude of the discrepancy of your scores-even if it wasn't 'monumental'.
I need some encouragement 🙁
Thanks!
