OK, did anyone get a step 1 score that was notably HIGHER than NBME assessment tests?

Hi,
I've been reading these threads for a couple of months and I've read that most agree that the NBME self-assessment tests that you pay for have a strong correlation for the actual step 1 score.
But, I'd like to hear from anyone who was happily surprised at their actual board score (given their performance on the assessment tests).

Please share when you took the assessment(s), i.e. 2 days before, 1 wk before, or 4 weeks before the real exam, etc. and the magnitude of the discrepancy of your scores-even if it wasn't 'monumental'.

I need some encouragement 🙁
Thanks!

I pray... or else I will be swimming upstream to achieve some of my potential goals... I would also love to hear these accounts.

I took the NBME assessment test 3 days before the real thing. It predicted I would score slightly below the national average. Instead I got a 246, so I was pleasantly surprised.

Awesome! Your post makes my day!
I just wanted to hear from SOMEONE that it worked out that way. I know that more likely than not, the NBME is a strong predictor of how one will do, but I really needed to hear your experience- thanks for sharing, and CONGRATS! WELL DONE!! 😀
