I am an older student. I have an undergrad 3.0 GPA mostly because of three terrible semester. I have a 3.95 in the prereques that I just finished this past semester after being away from school for 10 years. I have enough savings to either take another year of classes then take the MCAT or spend the whole year studying for the MCAT. What would you do ? I already took Genetics, Biochem, A-Chem and a couple extra physiology classes so I cant think of anything else to take to improve my chances on the MCAT. Should I study for the MCAT for a whole year ? Should I try to get a second degree. My preMed advisor has no answers.

You're going to get mighty bored studying for the MCAT allll year. Why not work part-time while studying for the MCAT? Or go ahead and get that second degree. Or do research.
