Application complete at about 10 schools for well over a month. Checking mail and email every day, nothing. Got to think of something else...

It's the funniest thing...I was getting anxious too, couldn't stop thinking about the fact that I had no interviews and hadn't heard anything, etc...Then I went out of town to San Diego last weekend with some friends and had a great time and forgot all about the whole medical school process/mess for a few days...Next thing you know, I come back home Tuesday to find an interview from Columbia in my mailbox...then today i got an email from Mount Sinai inviting me for an interview...You're right, you gotta forget about it - it seems to be good luck! 😉

Argh...all I can think about is how depressing it is not receiving any word yet from UCincinnati when I submitted my app on Oct-1, and my friend with a lower MCAT score (everything else comparable) submitted his on Oct-29 already got an interview <img src="confused.gif" border="0">

Ohhh, and to make it worse, I just got hooked on E.R. I've made it all the way to here, without caring about the stupid tv show. Now I'm imagining myself in every scene, and checking my email several times a day. Gosh I never thought it'd come to this. 🙁

Hey peeps....I am, regrettably, in the same situation. I am thinking because my undergrad GPA isn't stellar I am being placed in a "We will potentially consider you after we figure out what the total applicant pool looks like" pile. I sent out a bunch of secondaries in October ( verified the 27th) and not a peep, not even from my instate school. My question is.....for everyone who hasn't heard anything...what are your stats? I have a 3.3 UG G.P.A from a semi-private school and a 3.6 and a masters from a top 10 school.....not too many EC's and my breakdown is 12-12-13-T. I am just wondering if we could establish some sort of pattern here.......best of luck to each and every one of you in your endeavours!
