I've been playing piano for ever since I remember, and I played off and on during college in my free time. Is this worth putting down on my EC list?

Definitely. Artistic abilities help to show you are well-rounded.

Yup, I second this.

I play guitar, but who doesn't? I'm probably not going to put it down.

I love piano, I want to start playing.

put it down...shows that you can do other things besides school.

I played the trumpet for 12 years, and I put that down. Also, a less common hobby I have that I also included is my car. I own a muscle car and work on it all the time (mostly out of neccessity), but it is a part of who I am so I thought adcoms should hear about it.

I think it is great to put things down that don't have anything to do with medicine, because it gives them something to ask about in interviews. And then if you think that it relates to medicine you can connect it somehow.

definitely and even if you don't put it as an EC...it will DEFINITELY appear on your secondaries...I always got questions that asked about musical talents or artistic abilities.
