OK! So basically I just got word that I have been granted an interview at Waterloo...

WHICH IS NUTS BECAUSE I HAVEN'T WRITTEN MY OAT YET. And my average is basically an 85..



So what the hell is going on?


I'M CONFUSED AND SHOUTING! (I hope its not a mistake!)

I just got asked for an interview today too, but I already wrote the OAT too..
Maybe they didnt look at the OAT scores yet and just marks...I dunno.
But I think marks dont even really matter for the interview and basically everyone that applies gets an interview...
My interview is really early, right in the start of January...now im getting nervous...

I haven't called waterloo yet to find out whats going on...but I'm *kinda* hoping we got called for 'early inverviews.'

Most applicants do get interviews, especially if you live near Waterloo, unless GPA is terribly uncompetitive.

Hey OATeater,

Like I mentioned in the other thread, the interview is just one part of the application that they consider along with everything else... so it makes no difference whether it's before or after you write the OAT. The interviewers don't know anything about your application either, so it's not like there is a missing piece of information from their perspective.

i was actually hoping that we got called for "early interviews too"😀
my average is in the high 80s
