...but I have just a few hours to decide whether or not I want to postpone (again) my DAT. As of now, I'm scheduled for this Saturday (7 July).

Over the past two weeks, I've taken two TopScore and then two Achiever tests, and came up with these scores:

Bio 17/19/19/18
GC 17/17/18/17
OC 17/18/19/19
QR 15/17/19

Obviously not spectacular. But at the same time, I feel like I'm reaching the point where I don't know what else to study. I know I've definitely made some progress since I started hitting the books hard this summer, but I'm still a few points shy in my weakest areas.

Bah. I don't know why I made this thread. Just venting, I guess. But since you've read this much, what would you say? Postpone? Or should I expect to see a better score with the real deal?

have you gone over your mistakes? do you feel confident? if yes, I think you should go ahead and take it

good luck :luck::luck::luck:

If you think you have studied all the material & there is nothing else left to study & you feel 100% confident....then you should take it

I agree with Mstoothlady. I also had scores in this range, but really didn't have the option of postponing due to my summer schedule, etc. I did as much as I could with the time I had, and it had to be good enough. DAT went well and for the most part, I'm comfortable with the end result. Good luck.

My scores were lower than yours in the sciences (I think I had a 14 on an achiever orgo and got a 20 on the real deal) and I took it and did fine. Don't let a practice test tell you if you're ready. If you feel like you're ready, then do it.
