I think it depends on what you are wearing to the interview, ir whats most flattering. Are you planning on wearing a pant suit or a dress?

yep, that's the eternal question. it doesn't matter..go with what you're comfortable with.

I am thinking hair up for myself because it hangs way down my back - one length all over. Still trying to decide about pants or skirt suit - probably whichever feels more comfortable.

heard you should always tie it back if you have long hair

and you can leave it down if its short

if you're an emo/indie rock girlie, your hair should be up into two little pigtails. awww, pigtails- they get me every time.

The interview days are pretty long....I pulled my hair back because I didn't want to have to worry about brushing it right before my interview and I didn't want it to be a distraction (covering my face) to me or my interviewer during the actual interview.

While I'm not anywhere near there yet I'll probably put it in a barette or in a braid to keep it out of my eyes but leave it down because I suck at doing buns lol.

Women dressed in power suits with their hair in an updo style look so manly.

Actually, we at Vogue find it rather chic this season.

Women look fantastic with long hair worn down...

I wore mine down but pulled away from my face (with clips or barrette). Do whatever you do well and what looks professional. One hint, though: Dry it. This may seem obvious, but at my Duke interview, one girl showed up with wet hair. There's no better way to say "I don't give a ****" than long wet hair at your med school interview. 🙄 (She told me in the admissions office that she'd rather go to UNC anyway.)

In summary, do what looks attractive, feels comfortable, and can stand up to an entire day of interviewing and touring.

Don't forget to put a ribbon that matches your suit color in your hair. 🙂

I'm serious ...

Question?

Are ya'll wearing a skirt or pants if wearing a suit.

think i'm wearing a skirt suit since i'm petite and pant suits look too baggy on me. will probabaly wear hair down but away from the face...i can't afford to look too young with my hair pulled back! (i got carded at a movie theatre two months ago...) sigh... i wish i looked older!

Pull your hair back if it's very long. Keeps you from messing with it out of nervousness (I know I do that sometimes) and you won't have to worry about it blowing all over the place if the tours are outside, trust me it's irritating.

down for me. with a trim on the ends one week prior to ensure premium straightness and eveness!
