Depends on how much you're studying per week. I'd say 3-4 months is verging on overkill, but if you're taking classes, working, etc. that sounds about right. Good luck! 🙂

Studied about 2 months, did it full time though (sorta- worked and shadowed too, but not classes. Weekends I took off for the most part). 3-4 months full time might be a bit too much, I think you'd burn out.

Thank you so much! Yea I feel that if it becomes comfortable then that should be the perfect time to take the exam, because anything after that seems like you’re dragging yourself along

I did 3 months. 2 months moderate review (maybe 5 effective hours per day), then the last month about 6-10 hours a day purely doing practice questions, making anki cards, and then reviewing concepts I was getting wrong.

I think 4 months could end up working against you. Once fatigue sets in you could start to forget a lot of simple things. Also with the PAT, everyday practice is a must and doing that for 4 months would be terrible. 2.5 months was perfect for me.

I second this. I loosely followed Ari's study schedule in the beginning, then began to see what worked, and went off and did my own thing after. BC is an amazing resource, as it Destroyer. I'd say BC is more of a learning tool, however, because they go very deep into explanations. Destroyer is very beneficial as well!
That’s what I’ve been doing so far. I’ve been using BC and Destroyer as much as I can. But sometime seeing how difficult the questions on destroyer get, I begin to question my knowledge on the subject.
I agree, use Aris 10 week guide as a baseline until you see how comfortable you are with the material. Once you start taking your BC tests you will be able to decide how much more time you’ll need, I found that your practice scores (2-3 averaged out) align pretty closely with your real test performance.
