I took the August MCAT and got invited for October 26 at OU. Anyone else out there interviewing there? Also, is there anyone who goes there that can tell me what to expect? I'd appreciate any input as it is my first choice, being an OK resident.

I interviewed there. You are divided up into three groups for interviews at 9, 10 and 11 AM. So you either interview then do some touring or tour then interview. The interview is open file 3 on 1.

Make sure to get there a bit early because the parking map they gave you is not accurate. I really liked it there for a couple of reasons. Location - obviously in OK. Students/Faculty - they really care and interact a lot. Hippocrates system - simply incredible (you'll see it on the tour). First year patient classes.

Good luck to you.

Here is the perfect thread for you two!

It's all about discussing issues related to applying for the class of 2011 at OUHSC.

For most people the interview is fairly laid back, but I got grilled. Be prepared to answer basic policy questions -- honestly, they seemed more into that at my interview than any other school I interviewed at. Other than the actual interview, the day is pretty easy. You get a tour, lunch, and they supply breakfast (donuts and muffins, etc.), which is sometimes a rarity.

Yep, the parking map is wrong. If you're not familiar with the area, you'll probably want about 20 minutes to figure it out. If you let me know where they're telling you to park, I might be able to give you some directions.

Good luck! :luck: I'm happy with OU so far.
