Did everyone that got waitlisted at Oklahoma got in? This is weird because I just got rejected there on Dec 1. They mailed me a rejection letter and everything and just today I got an email saying I just got accepted?!???!

You should call and check with them to make sure. I was the only one on predents that was wait-listed and got accepted today. I hope its not a mistake and you really did get accepted!

I too was rejected on Dec 1, but also received a phone call and email of acceptance this past Friday (2/11). Odd I'd say.

Same sort of thing for me. I had a rejected email and website status but was called in the next day and told I was alternate number 2. Then I got my acceptance on Jan 21.

I'm definitely going to give OU a good look. They were at the top of my list before Dec.1 when I thought I was rejected. I really liked all the students and faculty, everyone seemed so happy to be there. OKC is an awsome city too, and very inexpensive to live in.

I'm also in the same boat. Was rejected Dec 1 and they contacted me a couple days ago. I honestly forgot what I saw on the tour. I don't really remember going into the labs and seeing the work area. Were the facilities pretty new? Were there research opportunities at the school?

..yea. after I got the rejection, I just completely forgot everything about the school. didn't think I'd be in this position. I mean, I totally thankful for their change of mind, but if anyone could help tell me some of the good and bad of the school that would be very helpful.

Its a clinically-based school and they kept stressing that on interview day. I actually had an interview with one of the main researchers there and he told me there are opportunities but OUHSC focuses on clinic so there are other places more suited for research if that is what you are looking for.

I just talked to Dr. Jones today (Assistant Dean of Admissions) and he said that about 35% of this years class got into specialty programs, so about 20/55 students.
