Has anyone heard good/bad on the Oklahoma dental school? I never hear them mentioned. It seems as though their number of applicants has gone down from 500 to around 300 in the last three years.

One of my friends who wants to go there says they don't use the AADSAS service so that could contribute to the low application numbers. That is pretty much all I know about it.

That's not true. They do use AADSAS. I applied to them using this service. It's just that you can apply directly to them without using AADSAS if you want to. And they also require that you fill out one of their on-line forms. However, they don't mention that. You have to go to their website to learn that. To be honest with you, applying to OU has been a pain in the ass. And the admissions secretary Susan is a total....well you get the idea. She is of no help. If you are not an Oklahoma resident, I wouldn't encourage applying to this school just because of the bureacratic process they make you undergo. Their admissions process is highly disorganized.

Really? I wonder if my friend knew that he could apply through AADSAS?? He really wants to go there & its his #1 choice. Thats too bad that they have to make it so difficult for you. Good luck with them......
