Hi guys,
My friend lent me a copy of her old AAMC before they computerized it and cut it down. It is a lot longer than the new version but I believe it contains the same questions, though some are cut out. Do you think if I did these, would it be reflective of the new MCAT?

Thanks

The old paper exams are the same as the new CBT except the paper version was longer. If you don't have access to the CBTs, then you may want to take the paper version; however, if you have access to the CBTs, take those first, and then go to the paper version to do the extra passages that were not on the CBT

Thank you ^
Does anyone know which passages are removed from each test and the new score conversions for these. Since I have the old version...it'd be foolish to buy a new version for $35 each. Can someone direct me towards a website or something where I can find such information. I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks!

First off, you have to get some CBTs. You need to get used to taking the MCAT on a computer and also adapt to the new timing. Do not underestimate the difference between taking it on the computer versus paper. Next, I think it's better to take the longer paper versions first. Doing so, you'll build your endurance before going into the CBTs. Taking them in the opposite order will not be good because it will take away from your CBT skills. As far as I know, there is no website that tells you which passages were taken out in the transition from paper to CBT.
